False Claims Act

The Department of Justice is doubling down on Qui Tam/False Claims Act (FCA) enforcement cases and collecting billions of dollars in FCA trebled damages. DOJ is targeting alleged Health Care fraud as well as other business sectors. These cases are highly complex and often have wide-ranging financial and regulatory consequences for the parties involved. Sims|Funk attorneys have extensive experience litigating FCA cases, representing both defendants and qui tam relators. Sims|Funk’s Qui Tam/FCA team is experienced on the government enforcement side of these cases, including the former United States Attorney for the Middle District of Tennessee who initiated the creation of the current enforcement group in the Nashville office of the Department of Justice.
