Sims|Funk attorney Beau Creson has been elected to serve as the President-Elect of the Nashville Bar Association in 2026.  He will begin his term in 2027.

Founded in 1831, the NBA is one of the oldest and most active metropolitan bar associations in Tennessee. With a membership of more than 2,600 attorneys, the NBA is dedicated to advancing the practice of law through quality continuing legal education, community engagement, public service programs, and initiatives that foster fellowship among members of the legal profession. The association also supports a wide range of member services, including referrals, professional development, and outreach efforts that enhance access to justice.

In his new role, Mr. Creson will work closely with the Board of Directors and the Association’s committees to further the NBA’s mission of promoting excellence in the legal profession and serving the Nashville community.  Mr. Creson has been actively involved in the NBA for many years, including serving on its Board of Directors since 2024 and previously serving as a Board member and President of the NBA Young Lawyers Division.
